Marty has been a member of the Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department in 1986. He has served our District and Department in numerous capacities over the years. Marty is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Both Marty and his Wife, Beverly Stone-Quinn, who is also a longtime member, have devoted many years to BCSFD and our community.
Over his tenure, Marty has held the rank of Assistant Chief, Captain, Lieutenant and offices of Department President and Secretary. At the District level, Marty was elected as a Fire District Commissioner by the residents of the Belgium Cold Springs Fire District for four 5 year terms or 20 years.
Marty is a NYS Certified EMT, ASHI Certified Instructor and has taught CPR / AED / First Aid for BCSFD for many years. He has also taught EMS, public safety and security classes for colleges and private companies across New York State. Locally, Marty was instrumental in securing FEMA funding and developing the curriculum for the Baldwinsville Central Schools Fire / EMS Training Program.
